Our History in Mexico:

The North Carolina State Convention of Free Will Baptist started their Foreign Missions program in Mexico in December of 1962. The Rev. J. E. Timmons and his wife, Lucy, served faithfully for many years until his death in 1981. The Rev. Vance Link and his wife, Mattie Lou, went to Texas in 1973 and served there until July 1982. The work in Mexico was under the direction of The Rev. Antonio Escobar for thirty-three years. The Rev. Everardo Martinez became the Field Director for Mexico in 2002. The work is located mainly in the northern part of Mexico. We support 14 pastors. These men pastor churches and start mission points with the help of the lay-people.
